How a typical litigation matter moves through YesCounsel.
New case intake
Branded intake form captures conflict inputs, runs a conflicts check against existing matters, opens the new matter, and auto-generates the engagement letter for signature.
Discovery + drafting
Upload productions; AI suggests privilege + responsive tags. Chat with the Motion Drafter agent using matter context. Deadlines auto-docket off court rules.
Trial prep + billing
Focus-timer captures billable work. Invoices auto-generate at month-end and send via the portal. Trust ledgers reconcile themselves. You bill the day you close.
Litigation firms ask us:
How is this different from Clio Grow + Clio Manage + Harvey stacked together?
Stacked, those three cost $300+ per user per month and still don't talk to each other cleanly. YesCounsel is one platform, $59/user/mo, with matters, billing, AI research, AI drafting, conflict checks, and client portal sharing the same data layer. Nothing is entered twice.
Does the AI know my jurisdiction's rules of professional conduct?
The Motion Drafter agent is prompted with jurisdiction-specific playbooks (your playbook — we don't invent rules). It will always cite sources and surface uncertainty; the attorney reviews and signs. AI is a drafting partner, not an attorney.
Can I migrate from Clio or MyCase?
Yes. Share read-only API access, our migration engine imports matters, contacts, time entries, documents, and trust ledgers in 2–4 hours. We keep your old PMS running in parallel for 30 days so you can compare before switching fully.
What about court e-filing?
We integrate with One Legal, File & Serve, and state-specific e-filing providers where available. Where e-filing APIs don't exist, we generate the properly formatted PDF and track the filing event manually. We publish our integration list; ask us before signing.
Is your trust accounting actually state-bar compliant?
Yes — three-way reconciliation (bank / ledger / client trust balance), IOLTA-compliant reporting, audit trail export. We can sign state-specific compliance addendums for bars that require them. Your bookkeeper can review the DPA before signing.
