Every tool your estate planning team touches, unified.
Will + trust automation
Your templates, your conditional logic. Intake answers map to drafted clauses automatically. Review, edit, e-sign — all inside the matter.
/documents
Branded client intake
Send a white-labeled intake link. Clients answer once; answers populate engagement letters, conflict checks, and document templates without re-entry.
/intake
AI drafting agents
Chat with an agent that knows your playbook (charitable trusts, Crummey powers, generation-skipping). It drafts; you review. No hallucinated case law.
/ainative
Native e-signatures
Clients sign wills, trusts, POAs, and funding letters inside the portal. Witnessed + notarized where required. No DocuSign surcharge.
/signatures
Trust accounting + retainers
Retainers drawn down per matter; final distributions reconciled per beneficiary. IOLTA-compliant. Audit export in one click.
/time-billing
Conflict + beneficiary checks
Run conflicts against prior matters, including adverse parties and related beneficiaries. Flag relationships before drafting, not after.

How a typical estate planning matter moves through YesCounsel.
Client onboards themselves
Send the intake link. Client answers ~40 questions about assets, beneficiaries, and intentions. Conflicts run automatically. Engagement letter auto-generates for e-signature.
AI drafts, you review
The Drafting Agent assembles the will / trust / POA from your templates + the intake answers. You review the redline, edit what matters, skip the boilerplate.
Sign, store, schedule funding
Clients e-sign inside the portal. Notarization workflow where required. Funding steps (account retitling, deed recordation) scheduled as tasks with automated reminders.
Estate Planning firms ask us:
Does it work for high-net-worth / multi-jurisdiction estates?
Yes. Our document automation supports conditional clause logic for complex structures — charitable remainder trusts, GRATs, dynasty trusts, multi-state property. Your playbook drives the clauses; we don't invent legal positions.
How does this compare to WealthCounsel or Wealth Docx?
WealthCounsel is a template library + drafting tool. YesCounsel is the whole firm — matters, billing, portal, trust accounting, AI agents, conflicts — with document automation built in. If you're currently paying for WealthCounsel + Clio + DocuSign + a client portal, you'd replace three or four vendors with us at lower total cost.
Are electronic wills actually valid?
State-dependent. About 15 states currently permit electronic wills under UEWA. For states that don't, we generate the printable PDF, track the in-person-witness workflow, and log the attestation. We don't pretend something's valid when it isn't.
Can we use our existing template library?
Yes. Upload your Word templates with merge fields; our document-automation engine imports them. We don't force you onto a proprietary template format.
What happens at client death — does the file stay accessible?
Yes. Matters don't auto-archive. You keep the file active through probate and beyond. Data export is always available to you as the firm of record.
